No video recorded

I am trying to record 8mm videos from a Sony Video 8 Handy Cam (8mm camcorder from the 1990s). There are 2 output jacks for the comcorder 1 for audio and 1 for video. I am using the IUO32A Video Capture device and have connected the audio cable to the white audio input and the video cable to the CVBS input. When i record I get audio but a blank screen. Anyone have any ideas?

You're going to need a bigger boat or at least a better PC....

Did you even bother to look at the requirements before you downloaded/installed OBS?

Thanks Rockbottom. I appreciate the direction but maybe you could maybe use a little kindness in your response. You were correct, i was using a windows 7 computer. But thanks for being an ass. I hope you can brighten other people's days with your understanding that some people may not be as savy on the computer.

from what i can see in the log
the issue is clear
you missed to add a source to your scene
if you not add the video source device ,you can't see it


Edit: Ok bullshit logfile with 10000000x tries found on scrool down to end


looks like you made wrong settings

you need to set the settings to a from the device supported values
