No sound when I connect BOTH desktop capture and audio input

I do reaction videos however OBS has been failing me. When I connect my OBS and only record desktop audio. Then it records fine 100%. But as soons as i want to add my mic (for commentary while watching a video on YouTube) then YOUTUBE gives me a playback error and the video doesn't play in youtube. What can be the cause of this ? 9I attached 2 screenshots for when it works and when it doesnt work . Can any one help

Post a logfile from a recording session at least 30 seconds in length where the issue was occurring, and we can take a look.
