Question / Help No sound output with my audio interface / FL Studio 9

Hi there,

I'm running a Windows 7 machine using the music interface audient iD14.
When I'm going to stream beat production to Twitch.tv, I'm running into an issue.
Maybe someone can explain or help to solve it.

I get no sound delivered trough my interface when I'm playing sounds trough Fruity Loops Studio 9, this only happens in a particular case:

As output i use the audient iD14 ASIO driver, which provides me fluid plays trough my input, which means, when I press a key to play a sound,
I instantly get a response from FL9 Studio. But in the same case the audio (even I do hear it in Windows trough my speakers) won't deliver the sound to OBS Studio 22.0.2. The volume meter wont move.

As soon as I chose the main driver (which of course delays my input into FL9) the sound is delivered again into OBS Studio. I am thinking, cause it's the same output as chosen in OBS Studio and FL Studio 9 at the same time.

Is there any clue why this happens, or any ideas or suggestions what I could do to get it running using the Asio driver provided by my interface manufacturer?
Thanks for reading in advance, I hope there is a solution for my problem.

Cheers

Didn't have a chance to reply to this yesterday.

OBS and Windows cannot "hear" ASIO. If you play ASIO audio from a DAW your volume meter in Windows doesn't even go up and down.

The zero latency way to do it is to use one of these. - 3.5mm TRS to Dual 1/4" TR Stereo Breakout Cable - Interface Monitor Out to PC Rear-Line In

But if you are using you Monitor outs then that is a no go. I don't want to suggest WASAPI because then you suffer the latency in FL, and VoiceMeeter is PC aids.

OBS-ASIO can only do ASIO Inputs, you aren't using REAPER so you don't have access to ReaRoute

ReaStream, from the ReaPlugs package, can send audio from FL Studio to another copy of ReaStream running in OBS but you may incur latency in receiving the audio OBS, but if you use local loopback (127.0.0.1) you shouldn't

Not my video, and has no sound? But it's stupid simple

ReaStream on FL Master, Send Audio over 127.0.0.1, default
ReaStream on Desktop Source in OBS, Receive Audio, type in the same identifier - default
