No sound on video or stream , but mic/audio input is there

Good evening,
Two days ago I could stream and record a video without poroblems. Today I wanted to stream but I can´t get the audio to work.
The microfone is set in windows correctly (also the audio)
There is an input in OBS, I can see the mic moving from green to red (also the audio). but if I start recording - no audio is recordet, only the game (and no sound from there).

I also tried setting up a new profile and just adding the mic and audio, but also there, sound is detected but not recorded.
Please help me .

So in the Audio Mixer you see the Volume Meter. Please click at the settings icon next to it (cog wheel) and select Advanced Audio Properties. What is the setting for Audio Monitoring for your sound device?

Here output refers to the sound actually going to stream or recording and monitoring refers to the listening by the OBS operator (=you) via speakers, headphones, etc.

Have the same problem with my Elgato card while OBS was in capturemode. Switching Audio Output Mode from the Elgato to Ouput Desktop audio (Direct sound) in the obsproperties of the Capturecard fixed the sound on the stream

Monitoring device in the settings is set to default

Hola, tengo el mismo problema. Luego de actualizar el obs, mis grabaciones no tienen sonido, a pesar que el programa detecta el micrófono. Desinstale el programa y ahora no me permite instalar.

Larger answer:

Since todays update the problems with all the sounds that are Not rerouted to the Destop audio don't get send to video and stream
Settings haven't been change on my site for the last 2 years orso (as long as i use the capture card).

The strange part is that the VU meter does show that is audio coming in from the device, it just doesn't get send to the output? anymore

In the OBS Settings:
Desktop audo: Default
Monitoring device: default

Fixed it for now by changing the settings in my sources:

fixed the sound on thevideos and stream for me (just need to fix my echo now on my headphones)

I have the same problem and I just opdated now. No sound on stream or video. Tried every possible setting. Mic works fine on any other software

No Audio with 27.1.2 update today

Hey i had to rollback to 27.1.1 because noone heard any musik.Since 3 years there never was a problem like this. - Music line had audio output in mixer (i saw the musik) -The Mirror to my earphones also worked Everything looked fine but there was no audio in stream. No i just downloaded...

FWIW, with the hotfix, it works fine. I had to roll back last night, but now, with the new hotfix, it's working fine.
