I have read countless threads regarding similar issue. However let me be more specific. I am using facebook live to stream a pre recorded video from media source (1990's movies). There is no sound for my audience of my facebook page. It starts off good then choopy resulting to total audio loss. I verified this by going on another device and accessing my own facebook page to realize that there is no sound while streaming the video. I realize that the media source does not get output audio to the desktop itself but what can be going on that there is no sound to the people I am streaming to on facebook? I am running windows 7, No VPN. Problem is on both avi and mp4 files. Videos playing perfect outside of OBS. Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you for your time. Code:
12:05:22.557: Max audio buffering reached!

The problem is that your PC cannot keep up playing the video and streaming at the same time. You will need to downscale the output resolution further with a CPU that weak and no proper GPU.

Thank you for your response. Will updating my PC to windows 10 automatically install the GPU needed or do I have to manually install them after update? Will updating to windows 10 solve my issue or should I just buy a new PC is what I should of asked..lol

You should try the advice given and downscale the output resolution if you still have trouble or aren't happy with the quality you should look to buy a new pc.

A gpu is a graphics card, which is a piece of hardware you would have to physically install.

I am having a similar issue on my Mac. I am just starting out so brand new. I saw this thread and am wondering what I should rescale the output to. Currently it is set at 852 x 480. This is in the settings under output-streaming. There are many lower options but not sure what is best.

This graphic shows how my settings are now:
