Question / Help No Sound in OBS except Desktop Audio/SystemSound

Hi,

I'm trying to record/stream a video with OBS (what else ;))

As VideoSource I use my Smartphone (OnePlus 3T) over Droidcam which works fine (over WIFI and USB).
But I can't get any Audion input.
I tried it on two different laptops but both only show me the Desktop Audio/SystemSound with working levels in the mixer and the recordings.
I tried different sources and settings for my Audio-input but (using my Smartphone+Droidcam as an ext. mic or my build in mic).nothing works.
A mic-test in the browser showed me that both sources work in win 10 and the internal mic worket in Linux (did not try Droidcam).
In a later setup I want to try a real external mic.

Any Ideas?

Short addition:
I checked the level in WIN 10 from my onboard microphone when using the online mic test:
I can see the level changing.
When Starting OBS and trying to use it nothing happens with the level in Win 10 and in OBS.
It looks like its deactivating (or at least not activating) the microphone.

OBS is unable to access this device, possibly because it has exclusivity turned on.

Similar issue. OBS either doesn't have permission to access the device, or exclusivity is on and another application is using it. Or else you've specified a device that is not connected.

Have you set up Audio Input Capture in your sources and selected DroidCam Virtual Audio?

I am having the same issue.
There's no DroidCam Virtual Audio to select under Audio Input Capture
Also, the plug in doesn't allow me to include audio. It crashes, closing the application.
I am using ubuntu 20.04

Hey!
Having the same issue. The Droid Cam video server comes through just fine. But I'm not seeing any audio source created by the device. I've checked in PulseAudio and also in the input sources and ... in either place there's nothing.
