I'm having a weird problem. Certain games are not having their sound detected by OBS at all. Would there be any reason why some games's sounds are detected and some are not? Ive been playing TERA and Defiance recently and both of them are mute on stream. But sound is being detected fine by my output if i have sound in anything else like my web browser or anything else but the games are mute when streaming. I find it very strange because other games dont have this problem, tested some others to make sure.. LoL, Trackmania, Dead Island. Also, I streamed TERA before with sound and had no problems so im not sure why im suddenly having this issue.
The only thing I have done recently is update nvidia drivers. I didnt think that would cause it but I rolled back with a clean isntall but the problem still persists. I disabled the nvidia hdmi sound device from my vid card just incase but nothing. I have tried switching from Default device in audio options to my actual device but that didnt help. Also, I tried FFsplit and it is doing the same thing with the same games so im lead to believe its a configuration issue or a windows device issue but I have no idea what could cause the problem.
