I am trying to get OBS set up to do some streaming and bought an IP camera,
I got it working by setting it up to point the camera at my old TV and fed the headphone output into my external USB sound card.
This streamed well and I was able to adjust the sound to get good lips sync.
But now I have been trying to get it set up to view and pick up the sound where I want to use it.
I can stream the video and I can see the audio being picked up but OBS doesn't even see the built in mic on my laptop.
I looked at the log and here is the relevant part of the log
Any idea what I can check/install/uninstall/test to resolve this please?

I can record from the onboard mike with audacity and play mp3s and youtube videos and so on so it's got to be something to do with OBS as far as I can see.17:43:39.803: CPU Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz
