This is happening pretty much all the times. At some point, OBS inverts itself: it records when I think recording is stopped and doesn't record when I think it is. There is no way to figure it out, because there is no screen overlay. I know everyone has two monitors, but it does NOT work for me. I have not enough space on my desk to stick a second display and each time I tried a dual monitor setup, I end up with one screen too far away from me. I tried with other recording programs, but they don't support my audio setup correctly, recoding just on the left channel because I'm using a semi-pro audio interface + condenser mic rather than a webcam or USB headset. So I would like to keep using OBS, but this problem is so frustrating that I will end up stopping recording at some point. What prevents the implementation of a recording indicator? Is it because overlays require proprietary API? Is it because nobody needs that?
