Question / Help No PS4 Audio with OBS, but it works with Game Capture software

I just recently bought an Elgato Game Capture HD. I've read numerous tutorials and searched the crap out of these forums and Google with no luck. I have all my audio and chat going out through the HDMI on my PS4. When I pull up the Game Capture software, everything works perfectly. I get all audio. However, I'd rather use OBS for my streaming needs. I'm trying to set up OBS to do my streaming, but when I try to record, stream, or even preview my stream, I get zero audio. The video looks fine, but the audio just disappears. I can go back to Game Capture and it works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried re-installing OBS, unplugging/replugging all the cables, rebooting the PC, etc. Here are a few screenshots of my settings.

*edit* My audio issue isn't just through the recording. I get no audio coming out of the TV anymore either. I can hear the audio from the TV when I'm not previewing the stream. The moment I click Preview, all the audio disappears from the TV.

On the Source properties, mid-right. Try switching it to 'Output audio to desktop'. You may also need to specifically select the Elgato from the dropdown, rather than just 'use device audio'. Not sure why it'd stop playing sound to a TV on the passthrough though (and would want to put it back to 'play audio to stream' once you get it working).

Probably need @LtRoyalShrimp on this one, if he's about.

Thanks for the reply @FerretBomb. I tried switching to the Output audio to desktop and had the same results. When I try choosing the Elgato from the dropdown box in the audio input device section, I just get a screen that says "No Device..."

Update. I somehow fixed the problem. I'm not exactly sure what I did :P. I just kept playing with the settings in the elgato source setup section. I clicked on the configure button for the elgato and played around in there and it just started working. I wish I knew the exact steps I did to actually fix it, but I'll take it!

One thing to check in these cases if if Analog audio has been selected in the Game Capture config panel. You need to run the preview, and then open the Elgato device properties and then click on configure, and then make sure "Analog audio" is unchecked.

I tried this fix up above, but unfortunately when I click properties>configuration on the elgato in obs, the window pops up for elgato config, but the "analog audio" box does not appear. But when I close obs and open Up elgato software, click device setting and I can choose analog audio there. And it works perfect, I can hear game, myself, and chat audio in the hd60 software. But for some reason the only audio I'm getting in obs is game audio, I can hear myself or game chat because I can't find where to check that box. Any suggestions?
