Question / Help No notification email from forum even though email notification is enabled

In my OBS forum preferences I have enabled "receive email when a new conversation message is received", but I don't receive any emails. How can I fix this?
 
Conversations are private messages, if you want to be notified of forum posts use the "Watch" option. These emails should be working, we haven't turned any of them off. Try checking your spam folder in case they were miscategorized.
 
I have watch enabled, and the emails aren't in my spam folder. And I did get the confirmation email when I created the account, so the forum has my right address.
 
Make sure you also ticked the email option when watching:
