Bug Report No Mics Working with latest version of OBS

After the latest Plug in update None of my Microphones work with OBS versions 0.57Beta and Test Build 0.57.02 quicksync tests. OBS Recognizes my mic because I can see the green bar moving during preview. I use a Blue Yeti Mic. I also tried switching to the built in mic on my webcam which is a Logitech c910 and that mic isn't working either. I reverted to Using OBS version 0.554b with the same settings and everything worked fine. I also switched back to using Xsplit and everything worked fine there also. If its any help I'm on windows 7 64bit Ultimate, My mother board is a Asus P8p67 deluxe and i7 2600k for a CPU. Any Help would be appreciated.

Same here. It says it's picking up the mic, but when I look back on the video of the steam, there's nothing from my mic at all. Sad because I recorded an entire session today with no indication the mic wasn't working...

Try forcing the mic to mono and see if it picks up anything. My mic is working fine with this setting on.

OBS > Settings > Audio > Force microphone/aux to mono.

Highlight: "13:45:07: Audio timestamp for device 'Microphone (Realtek High Definition Audio)' was behind target timestamp by 11! Had to delete audio segment." about a billion times with that last number starting at around 120 and jumping down over and over until it hit 11. So yes...it went to 11, baby.

Hm, you are using Mic QPC timestamps, what happens if you increase scene buffering time in advanced settings up to 1000?

Is there a reason you need to use Mic QPC timestamps? Is the above test done with the larger buffer, like Krazy suggested?

Was trying things to fix a de-syncing problem I was having with game sound and my Headset mic/Webcam video.

The buffer...I don't remember. I was using a higher one before the update, but I didn't see if it kept it or not. I already reverted back to the last version and it worked fine again :P When I can, I'll reinstall the new version and try it, but it won't be until tomorrow :P

Well, it would be nice to try to figure out what the problem is, if you're willing to test some more things. Do you think you could come by the chat sometime to help troubleshoot?

No need. I simply unchecked "Mic QPC timestamps" and it started working again. No idea why that option has apparently broken mics :P Or...really what that option does in the first place. As I said, I was trying to do anything to fix a de-syncing problem I was having.

Okay guys, I had this same problem for a while and nothing was helping. But for me, getting the problem fixed was as simple as going to my Control Panel, going to Hardware and Sound, and turning up my Mic from there. Once I turned my mic up (it was set to 0) it began working on OBS again. (Which is weird, because my mic was working for everything else, including XSplit and Skype; who would have thought something like that would fix it?) Hope this helps a bit.
