Question / Help No Matter What Settings, My iMac Won't Stream to YouTube Servers...

I have watched countless YouTube videos and read as many articles on how to set up streaming (through OBS) to YouTube and yet I cannot connect to YouTube's server. My iMac has surpasses the minimum specs and my network speed is more than adequate. I've literally spent days trying to get OBS to stream to YouTube on my iMac and I've gotten nowhere.

I've been on the internet since 1993, so I'm not newbie, but this is driving me nuts! Someone PLEASE tell me what the problem/s could be!

No kidding, that's my point. I cannot even connect to YouTube's ingest server, no matter what settings I use. I think it may be an issue with my ISP Time Warner, who is now Spectrum.

Except that the log would show you making the attempt. That log doesn't even show you pressing the start streaming button.

Failed to connect to server

The connection timed out. Make sure you've configured a valid streaming service and no firewall is blocking the connection.

I have OBS set up for YouTube properly and I have no firewall up.

Cmd+Shift+G doesn't bring up anything on my iMac. Thanks anyway for your help. I believe my problem is with my ISP. I have a friend just a few miles from me who has a different ISP and even though his mac is much slower, downloaded OBS and started streaming YouTube immediately. I think Time Warner is the problem.
