No longer recieving sound from switch

So I'm brand new to all this and I'm not sure what I did. I bought a capture card on the 8th, got it all set up by the 11th and my first stream went great. I could hear the game on stream and really wanted to add the camera and mic features. So I added a camera and mic option to the stream and now I cant get the audio from my switch to play through recording or stream anymore. I've completely reset the entire app to basically factory settings, and proceeded to only add the video card as I did last time. Yet I still can't hear the game through my stream. Any tips?

Make Sure there is no headphone plug into the Switch, Switch can't output sound via HDMI while headphone are connected

What capture card are you using
Im using a 4k USB3.0 from Amazon. I know it's probably not the best but it just suddenly stopped producing audio rather than being dead on arrival. So there's gotta be a way to bring it back.
Edit: Also It picks up my voice through the capture card mic input but not the games sound even with it unplugged.

Here is two Helpful Workaround for the Capture Card

See and that's where I'm confused. It's not an issue of not being able to hear it from the laptop. It's the fact that I'm not receiving any kind of audio from the capture card, when I was before. In the audio mixer, theres no indication from the video card that there's sound coming through. Recordings are silent
