Question / Help No Longer Capturing After Update

So, figured I'd do a bit of streaming after having not done so for a bit. Noticed there was an update after launching OBS, so went ahead with it. Nothing streams now just a black screen, though CLR seemed to show up fine.

All of my previously setup sources weren't working and adding new ones was a bust, but doing monitor capture worked-ish. Not sure if I should reinstall, so came here for advice bearing a log file.

I feel that it shouldn't be related to the update. According to that specific log, it seems like you were capturing fine as well. What game is it specifically?

I was trying a few games, including Game Dev Tycoon, FTL, and Rust.

It wasn't capturing sound either, but discovered my setting for that defaulted back to line out instead of speakers for some reason.

That definitely does seem unusual. I would like to see a log file of some other games, in that log it says nw.exe, and I don't know what that is.

I'm... not really sure either. Here are two more.

It could be another program causing interference.

(Cue copy & paste: ) These could be other capture programs, game mods and graphics mods (sweetfx in particular), graphics card utilities like msi afterburner or the EVGA 'K boost' feature (I think it's called), or programs that put in custom in-game overlays for their program, such as teamspeak/mumble overlays, or razer synapse overlay. If you're using "D3Dgear" (a very invasive program), you must completely completely uninstall it to fix the issue.

I may have it figured out. Like with my audio defaulting, I had to manually reset my sources. Worked for Rust and FTL anyway. Still can't seem to get Game Dev Tycoon working.
