Hi
I am having problems streaming on Linux. For what ever reason I am getting the dialogue box saying

"Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details"
"Note: if you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date"

I am using an AMD GPU with the latest kernel so video drivers should be fine but I am also not able to stream even using the software encoder. So I know it is not the GPU but something else. I was able to stream in as recently as March of 2019 I believe. I have attached the log file.

Here is my log file

Are you actually streaming 7.1 surround? The error in the log is "invalid channel count"

Thanks, changing the audio output to stereo fixed it.

I am going to have to figure out what the issue is with my system PulseAudio setup. Up until recently it was defaulting to 7.1 output as I set it up to since I am using an HTPC setup. The PC is connected via HDMI to a TV which then passes the audio through to an AV receiver via optical cable. Before that it was directly connected to the AV retriever.

In both cases, my PC should have 7.1 audio output but for whatever reason the audio configurations have gone nuts and will only allow stereo output.
