I have installed the last version of OBS studio as of today (16.6), with all the usual things also installed (namely VS redistrib 2015, last DirectX, last AMD drivers etc)
Whyle trying to troubleshoot why I cant find the VCE option for my 280x, only x264 software option, I have noticed that my version does not generate log files. I have tried reinstalling and it is run as admin, but my log folder is allways empty.
I can also record my screen, so the program is working.
It seems it makes the correct config file and the profiler also generates a report but there is no trace of the log files.
On a related problem it seems my user name is Adrià, and that confuses the path and creates another one as "C:\Users\Adriᅢᅠ\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio\plugin_config\obs-browser"
Even so everything else is in the correct folder "C:\Users\Adrià\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio"... except the log files, wich are nowhere to be found.
OBS classic had no problems with my user before and correctly generated logs, so something is not working here.
My specs are:
Win 10 pro 64 bits post aniversary.
Intel i5-4670K 16gb ddr3
R9 280x 3gb
"Did you remember to include a log file if you're having a problem?"
I wish I could ;)
