Hello everyone, I had to switch gpu cause my last one, RTX 4060. was defective. Anyway, i 100% remember i was using h.265 with my last gpu as encoder for my streaming but since I installed my Radeon 7700xt i have not been able to do it as there is no such options in the streaming tab... Can someone please help me how to fix it? (i stream on twitch if that helps)

Are you sure about that? I remember vividly that when i had my nvidia gpu there were 3 options for encoder....
1. x264
And then the other 2 were 100% gpu related encoder... i have a great connection so bitrate it's not my problem but yesterday when i was live i noticed that it was blurry when i was moving fast and as someone who always wanted the best connection possible this really bother me

I'm absolutely sure about it. twitch's infrastructure only accepts h.264 standard encoders and is not equipped to handle h.265 or AV1

Ok so basically what i have learnt from all of this it's that nvidia encoder it's much better than the amd one and that i have to go back to an Nvidia GPU

Not saying that Nvidia is better than AMD. All been said is that Twitch does not support anything beyond H.264. If you want use H.265 would need wait for Twitch to support it.

I could be wrong but maybe YouTube might support H.265 if you want go that route

For streaming in a single computer, perhaps yes. I know many streamers using AMD GPUs with no issues on a single PC enviroment. All depends on what you do with it.

i play warzone and unfortunately i have noticed that it gest much more blurry in fast actions compared to when i had my nvidia encoder... not that it didn't get blurry back then too but now i think it's even more noticeable.... do you know by any chance when twitch will support a higher bitrare or support another encoder such as H.265 or AV1? Cause either way i think i'll have to go back to Nvidia...

Twitch isn't going to support this technologies in the near future.
Only Youtube support this due to its cost.
Pixelation is normal on fast paced games, even using a 2 PC setup. The way to minimize this is using higher framerates (youtube) even using h.264
Try reducing some graphic aspects on the game so the GPU has less resources allocated to draw each frames allowing this resources to be used on the encoding.
Another way is reducing the output resolution so each frame encoded needs less pixels allowing a the encoder to produce a better image and theres almost no inpact on the quality, like using 936p
