Question / Help No desktop audio

Which desktop audio?

I mean , OBS Studio does not have audio monitoring. So, you need to check your own stream to hear your OBS sound output.

It would be a great feature if they added it. That way you could check the audio before you start streaming.

As you have updated driver:
Use ecualization
Right click on windows speaker icon, playback devices

And for recording devices you , mayba can reduce mic noise:

You need to reinstall drivers.

Maybe you have to remove them completely with a tool like Revo Uninstallr or IObit uninstaller.
When you uninstall Realtk drivers, Windows will install default driver.
This default drivers should work fine.

If you want better performance, installing Relatek last drivers will give you the posibility ti equalize sound and reduce mic noise.

I removed the driver so i have the default drivers. And i still have the same problem : the first time i open OBS after a reboot it works but if i close obs and open it again it doesnt work.

My only idea about this:
Remove OBS and reinstall it.

If problem persist, I have no more ideas :(

Wow!!! Thanks so much, I just spent 3 hours looking for a solution.
So to recap - for those running OBS on an MSI computer, disabling Nahimic software (some kind of 3D sound enhancer) makes OBS desktop audio work again.

Thanks!
