Question / Help No Desktop Audio recording while using Headset

Edit: The issue was that OBS was set to 0 volume on the volume mixer

About 2 days ago I noticed that OBS was no longer picking up Desktop Audio (green desktop audio bar doesn't move in mixer) without me having changed anything. Before 2 days ago, everything was working as normal. I also noticed that this issue disappears when I unplug my USB headset (Cloud Hyperx 2 ) and use the speakers on my monitor, however this is impossible to stream with due to my setup.

This issue persists after reinstalling OBS, reinstalling and resettings settings, trying older versions of OBS, and adjusting the audio source for every possibility. I've seen a few topics regarding this but no one has had an answer that's solved it for me. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be very welcome

Seems like a bunch of recent threads on this (my issue is here https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/another-no-audio-question.81127 ). I'm having the same issue. I wonder if it's something in Windows that changed that's causing the issue? I'm running in 64-bit mode. Was hoping someone might find something in our log files that would lend a clue as to what's happening? I also have a USB audio interface, so it might be the same answer.
