Question / Help No Desktop Audio in OBS

I'm currently trying to stream video games, however I seem to be having an issue with getting the games audio to output. In my test recordings, I'm able to record the audio and video fine, but I am unable to hear anything when I'm actually playing the game. And I've also been switching between OBS 32-bit and 64-bit, but both versions are unable to output the desktop audio from my game console. Desktop Audio is outputted when I watch a YouTube video for example on my computer but not when I'm trying to capture from my game console.

I am using the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable as my capture card and am running Windows 10 64-bit. Thank you for your time.

Thank you for your response, however, whenever I try to change 'Monitor Off' for Desktop Audio to 'Monitor and Output' it doesn't save, it keeps reverting back to 'Monitor Off'.

Edit: Nevermind I figured out what I was doing wrong. This whole time I had my headphones plugged into my computer when it should have been plugged into the Avermedia capture card, oops. ^^;

Neither of those posts about iShowU on the Mac belong in a Windows support thread. There's a sticky in the Mac forum about the necessity of using iShowU or similar to capture desktop audio on MacOS.
