So I have been using OBS for about five months now and it has not been giving me any problems until now. So basically, I have been recording videos and the audio has always been saved with the video, but recently (for about a week?) the videos have not been saving the audio. I do not know if it is a problem with OBS or if my computer is having other issues, but I am almost certain it is OBS right now. I have done a mic check and made sure I had my volume up and I still got no audio from either my voice or from the actual computer sounds. Maybe I have some settings that changed, but I have not done anything with my laptop recently or installed anything for a long time. The only thing that has been changed was the occasional OBS update, which is why I think it may be something with the way OBS is saving the videos. Anyway, I hope someone can help me with this and thanks!
Edit: Turns out that I had to change the audio encoding to AAC from MP3. Not sure why it works but I'll take it.
