I am using:

AVerMedia C127 Extreme PCIe HD Capture Device

My audio source: Realtek Digital Input (Realteak High Definition Audio) with RECentral

Whenever I plug in a game console into my PC (HDMI), I get video fine, but I don't get any audio. Any thoughts?

Recording, actually whenever I try to select the (Realtek High Definition Audio) in the Audio Source settings, I instantly get a loud scratching noise.

1) Open OBS
2) Right click on your Avermedia Source and click "Properties"
3) Click "Open Crossbar"
4) In the right hand drop down menu select "1: Audio Decoder Out"
5) In the left hand menu select check which audio Line in is selected, if its "1: Audio Line In" switch it to 2
6) Press "OK"
7) Still in the properties window, make sure in the Audio section (Use device Audio) is selected in the dropdown, and either Output to stream or to desktop is active.
8) Press "OK"
9) In a preview, see if you get sound now, if not, change to another Audio pin in the crossbar if there are more you did not try. (You will probably only have two to try)

Whenever I select (Use Device Audio) or AverMedia as the Audio Input Device, I get a continuous scratching noise.

Whenever I select Realtek Digital Input or Microphone, I get nothing.

I tried using the Open Crossbar with the settings you posted, and all I'm hearing is scratching. (I am getting video though)

EDIT: I got the sound to work, but it works because, on my PS3, I went to the audio settings and checked all of the boxes, (I have no idea what they are for).
