No Audio when recording.

I just installed OSB Studio 29.0.2 for Windows 10 22H2.

When I setup from youtube video (5 or 6 different videos) I do not get sound in my recording, and the desktop sound bar doesn't jump around while recording. It is like there is no audio at all.

I put my specs in my signature. I do have an Intel iGPU and my Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 capture card is in my primary video card slot.

Is my motherboard sound chip too new for OSB? It is a 13th gen motherboard. (MSI B760-P Pro)

OK, I was actually recording through Elgato from the game on another PC (Dell), I set the Dell's video ports to duplicate, so it would dispaly both on my gaming monitor and to the Elgato, when I was not getting audio on the Intel system.

I just decided to launch the game on this rig directly. And I was getting audio just fine.

Is there a different mode I need to run to record the game from the elgato?

This is really driving me nuts.

"and the desktop sound bar doesn't jump around while recording" - I have a similar issue on occasion where obs shows a source as 'active' by displaying the green as if working but it's only at the -60 or more area and not audible at all.
Still unsure why it happens, or even how to fix it for good, but i've found just restarting obs but running as admin on restart seems to fix that.

i dont know if its related but i am "loosing" microphone when recording (sometimes) - the stream will have the mic/sound , the sound miter in OBS is showing (moving) but the recording (i record using OBS) will sometime have the mic sound and sometimes will not ...

will have to get around and make my own tread with all the info - i just want to add this here as maybe is related

windows 10 , OSB Studio 29.0.2 , at2020usb+ mic , also i am using the win-audio pluging to get sound from the game

any ideas ?
