Hey I guess I can say that I am having this issue (sorta, it's a little backwards). So instead of OBS not picking up the audio, OBS picks up my mic, cam, and avermedia game play audio just fine. Thing is, I can't hear anything through my headset (Astro A40's). Any ideas?

Not sure if I can help, not a dev and I'm not sure if I'm reading the log correctly, but I think the part that says "
Using auxilary audio input: Microphone (HD Webcam C270)" means your recording device is set to the audio of your webcam and not the audio of your mic. If so then make sure in the recording devices, (Taskbar>Right-Click Audio>Recording Devices and find your headset. Right-Click and set as default) then in OBS settings click Audio>Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device and make sure it is set to your headset also. Oh and check Force Microphone/Auxiliary to Mono if it isn't. Another thing, if this works make sure (also in Audio) that you have Mic Sync Offset (milliseconds) set to the same as Advanced>Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds) so your mic audio isn't ahead of your video.

Hope that helped, if not then a dev will stop by I'm sure. Good luck!

I do in fact have the webcam under microphone/auxiliary audio because I am using my cam as a mic right now since my headset's mic isn't working (yet another issue), but that isn't the issue like I can record everything just fine and I can hear everything in the recording but the problem is that WHILE i am playing I cant hear anything through my headset. Any other ideas? Thanks btw :D

Are you saying your headset picks up audio from other sources just fine until you play, then it stops picking up audio? If the headset works fine in other places, but not while you are gaming then I'm not sure. When playing a game, go back to Playback devices and make sure that your headset is still set as the default device in case it changes when a game loads up. That sounds weird, though. Never ran into a problem like that before.
