Question / Help no audio recording

when i stream, audio and video works out fine. when i record, video works out fine but audio doesnt show up. i see the audio in the mixer(it is sensing sound) but when i record, the product doesnt have audio in it. how do i fix this?

? what is test playback.
but from what im guess you mean is to test it? ive posted it on youtube, no audio.

If you see the volume indicators moving in OBS and the stream has audio, the recorded file should too. Did you record with different settings than you used to stream? Can you provide a log file from a recording session where the audio failed? "Test playback" means open the file in VLC and see if it plays back properly.

Ideally you would just increase the device volume in Windows, though you can boost the volume within OBS as well if you have to.

I have this same problem, except there's actually no audio instead of just being really quiet.

Then you don't have the same problem at all, and should probably make your own thread. Remember to include a log file.
