Question / Help No audio output for media files

I have placed a couple of audio files in a scene, set the advanced audio properties to Monitor and Output with 2 tracks, but do not get any audio playback at the output over Skype. Voice and ambient noise over the mic work fine.

Is there another setting I need to adjust, or a plug-in or something?
