Question / Help No Audio on Recorded File when brought into Sony Vegas

So for some reason after recording a session, and i drag the file into Sony Vegas to edit, there is no audio on the file. But when i watch the file there is audio its just not coming up on my editing software. Can anyone tell me why

In OBS Classic I'd say you used MP3 audio instead of AAC. Don't think that's still a thing in OBS Studio though. Are you using OBS Classic? Post your OBS log file, and post the Media Info text output from your recorded file. If the problem is repeatable, make a small new recording and upload it to a file sharing web site so we can see for ourselves.

What version of Vegas are you using? Vegas has been really fussy about audio codecs in the past, I went through a long spell of getting this same issue until a Vegas patch fixed it.
