Question / Help No Audio Monitoring ?

I am just trying out OBS and the video mixing is great, but I am missing a way to monitor the audio. An audio mixer is pretty useless if you cannot monitor its output.
 
I hope this is high on the feature list. Without audio monitoring it is really difficult to produce a good live stream. I can tell from my experience with live streaming that proper audio is often much more important than all the fancy video. Audio in many cases conveys the main information and the essence of an event.

This feature is a bit harder to do on Linux then on Windows/OSX (which will be getting it with 18.0.0).
Linux has multiple ways of handling audio.
 
Easiest way is to mix all audio outside of OBS and only use the meters (which could be improved on just by having some sort of scale).
