Bug Report No audio from twitchalerts

I've been streaming for quite some time now, and a couple of months ago ( i think ), with the most recent update, the audio from BrowserSource isn't working. I changed no settings at all and have discussed this with other users.

I believe twitch alerts audio just plays through the computers speakers. so it operates similar to any audio from the computer that you want to capture. Meaning you'll have to use a 3rd party app to channel the computer audio into its own audio source (2ch) and then OBS will pick it up.

Thank's for responding, Luuke, but I think i've been a bit unclear in my post. I've been capturing audio all along as i stream music production, so the issue is definitely not that. I've used both Sound Siphon and Soundflower. The alert sound worked for a long time, and then without me changing any settings stopped working.

I just struggled with this as well and finally figured out what happened. The issue issue started on 20.1 although there where no changes noted in this release. Check out the post I added here for more info.
