No Audio from Magewell USB Capture

I'm trying to set up a live stream for a church, and I can get video with no problem from the Magewell Capture device, but I cannot get audio for some reason. I've checked the device settings, OBS settings and my Macbook settings. All have the capture device listed as the input for OBS. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't have a Magewell Capture device so I can't help you.
There are many Magewell Capture devices, but I thought it would be better to specify which product you are using.

and I was having a problem where OBS on a mac mini wasn't auto making an audio channel for the capture card. New to OBS on mac, so maybe this is a quirk of using OBS on a mac, or is specific to the M1 chips.

In order to get audio I had to add a new Audio Input Capture source and set the input to the capture card.
I would give that a try and see if it works.
