Installed iShowU Audio Capture. Created Multi-Oupt Device. Set Output to MultiOutput Device & Input to Focusrite Thunderbolt in system preferences (pref show reading mic input from the claret 8pre with no difficulty. Per instruction assigned Focusrite Thunderbolt ti Mic/Aux Audio and iShowU Capture to Mic/Aux2. Focusrite Monitor Outs 1&2 Assigned to Alnalogue 3-4 in Focusrite Control Panel; show correct input arriving at monitor outs. But No signal on Audio Mixer with both Mic Aux and Mic/Aus2 meters showing and set at 0.odb. Video switching between cameras fine; just no audio

Go in to your finder, preferences, security and privacy...make sure under microphone that OBS is checked to have permission to use all mics

Yeo, OBS.app already has permission to use my microphone running 10.15.4; it just lists Camera and Microphone regardless of how many of each you are using.

Any update on this? I, too, have been struggling to get my Clarett8Pre to give signal in OBS. I have permissions checked under mic privacy for OBS. The focusrite gives signal in... Audio Input in System preferences, Quicktime, and out my headphones/speakers, so it is successfully connected to my Mac Pro Late 2013 successfully via Thunderbolt. Any other things I could be missing? A driver for OBS? I even configured OBS' Mic/Aux to be the focusrite, (no signal), and added a source (Audio input > existing > Mix/Aux) and still no signal anywhere. Thanks for the help.

Of course, as soon as I post, I find in other threads an adjacent solution. OBS only picks up the first 2 channels, I only had mics on channels 3-8. So I tested input on channels 1 & 2 and wouldnt you know, OBS show signal! Thanks.
