Question / Help No audio detected from DSLR with or without my Rode mic

Hey everyone --

I'm 24 hours into live-streaming. My current set-up, which WAS working earlier... is:

Canon 80D with Rode Stereo VideoMIC
HDMI --> Magewell USB Capture HDMI --> my MacBookPro

The video AND audio were both working fine, but just a few hours ago, the audio wouldn't get picked up by OBS, or by Lightstream or anywhere.
Is there a setting I have clicked on that has messed things up? My audio in my 80D is set to Manual and the volume is at half, where it was earlier making test live-streams. With just the camera alone, tapping on the external Rode mic confirms that it is in-fact working!

Anyone's two-cents would be so appreciated! Thank you!

I have a similar problem. Canon Legria --> Magewell USB Capture HDMI --> Windows 10 laptop - and again no audio showing up in OBS on that channel, just as in the first screenshot above

I know audio is coming through the Magewell device because when I go into Windows settings and do a microphone test on that channel, it picks up audio fine. But nothing gets into OBS. I've submitted a question to Magewell, but I guess they're going to say that since the audio gets through to the computer it must be an OBS problem. Any ideas?

Same issue. I have a Canon 80D, Rode Shotgun Mic and a Capture card. Mic is picked up in the 80D audio menu and I have set the audio capture on the 80D to manual and adjusted the levels. Connected up via HDMI to capture card. Capture card then added as a video capture device source in OBS and video comes through fine but no audio. I have tried adding the capture card as an audio input source to but nothing.
I have tested in windows sound settings and the audio doesn't seem to come to the computer from the mic so I guess it is a capture card issue? Anyone have a capture card working that actually sends both Audio and Video and can you share how to configure in OBS if the above is wrong?
