Newbie with webcam issues

Hello guys I'm new here. I'm tring to connect an external webcam for twitch. In the program layout it does not appear the source box to select the webcam.
(sorry for my broken english I'm italian)

IS the webcam using USB?
Is the webcam visible to the operating system (OS)? I always recommend troubleshooting audio and video sources outside of OBS (that is, OBS not even running). Make sure you source (webcam in this case) working properly at OS level, then try and add into OBS

Are you using your motherboard's USB port? I was able to capture the webcam image only on the motherboard input. The USB port of the case does not appear in the image. Try the motherboard input.

please check your windows privancy settings that obs can use the webcam !
