Newbie: Video source (external HD video camera) not visible, but it works on zoom

I have a Cannon HD video camera connected to my Windows 10 machine. I use an Magewell HDMI to USB converter box. It works perfectly with Zoom and restream, and others. But when I look to add Video Capture device, it's not on the list. I feel like I'm missing something basic. What am I doing wring?

I figured it out and don't know how to delete this. I'm a dumbass. I had to create a new source first.

Learning curves....sigh.
