In the quest for best (smooth) files for use with a WD TV Live box and 1080 HDTV, is it better to capture my display screen video at 1366x768 or or my HDMI monitor at 1920x1080 scaled to 1280x720?
I'm capturing 60fps with CQP 18. I would like to reduce the 1920x1080 file sizes with minimal output degradation. Using Handbrake with the 1080 recordings reduces smoothness.
