I tried searching for an answer to this question, I am new to OBS and helping our group members to view live stream on our Facebook page.
I am able to make OBS work by adding my stream key in settings and then clicking on go live from Facebook producer.
Question: Is there a way I can go live directly from OBS without having to click on "Go Live" on Facebook producer page, reason is that I setup a batch file to start OBS and start streaming at a given time for a recorded file so I don't have to do it manually. But if I still have to click on "Go Live" to make it work then it kills the purpose.
I know scheduling the events beforehand on Facebook live is one way to go but then I have to do scheduling at two ends. One in the batch file to go live at 8am, 10am, 6:15pm and 9:00pm and then go back to Facebook to schedule 4 different events.
That seems like not the best way for automatic going live, its easier on YouTube where from OBS I can go live directly without having to click any thing on YouTube, options with Facebook?. I apologize if this has been answered somewhere but I couldn't find any relevant answer to solve this problem
