Trying to use OBS software with Youtube to capture a game that is played. I think I have done what is needed, but I am failing.

I have a big black window in my OBS app when opened.
Under the window I have Game Capture....Properties...Filters...Mode - capture specific window...Window: Brettspiele Online Portal
To me, that looks like what I want. I want to capture a specific Window and it is naming the running app that I targeted. But, it hasn't captured it - all I see is a big black box. What I expect to see is that box filled with a screen view of Brettspiele.
I've tried streaming twice. Once Youtube seemed to accept the stream (but it had no content). The second effort shows Youtube complaining about 'not enough video to maintain smooth streaming.
Since I have never done this before, 'newbie' is putting it mildly. There is something I am missing in my setup.
FYI - I have 2 'things' in Youtube channel videos. When I look at 'uploads' it shows 'no videos' but when I look at 'live' it shows the 2 that I 'created' - one 30 seconds, one 4:23. But both are simply entirely blank/black screens.
