I've just downloaded the OBS software. I have a D-Link IP camera on my network, which I want to use to stream to YouTube. Can I use this software to set that up?

Thanks.

Probably yes. If your device is a contacted via IP and has no Windows driver, get the media player VLC in addition to OBS. If you install both, you get a "VLC media source" source type in OBS, and with this source type you can connect an IP camera. If your camera comes with a directshow driver, you don't need VLC and you can use the "video capture device" source type.

I do have VLC as the default player for most media. I shall give your suggestion a try.

Thanks for your help.
