Question / Help Newbie Help - Capture Resolution with Blackmagic Card

Hello,

I'm new to obs. I'm using a decklink blackmagic card to capture incoming video via hdmi port. The incoming resolution is 1920x1080. All the video that is saved is at a smaller resolution. Is there a limitation on the OBS video capture window? It looks like you might be limited to capture at the size of your monitor? My monitor is only 1680x1050. Is there a way to force full 1920x1080 video capture on a small monitor?

Enter the resolution in manually in your obs settings.

I can't find where to put the settings in manually. I saw the knowledge article about that.

The only places where I can change video is in the

settings -> output -> output mode (advanced) -> recording tab -> rescale output

or

settings -> video -> Base Resolution or Scaled Resolution

Is there another place that I am missing?

Base resolution is where you set it.

Well, sorry for that. I just figured out with your help you can type in a resolution in the field. I thought it was only a pulldown menu only. You can type free text in that field....
