Question / Help newbie - audio out of sync

So I don't have much experience with video editing, but I thought I had enough to get by. I wanted to do a full gameplay series of one of my favorite games (mass effect) and got all the settings just right. Or, I thought I did. When I went to edit the full hour of the first part, the audio was wildly out of sync. When I moved it up to sync one part of the audio, it was out of sync with another part of the video. I'm not sure what I did wrong? Can someone with more experience help me out?

Please read https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/please-post-a-log-with-your-issue-heres-how.23074/ and post a log of a recording session where the problem occurs.

Having said that, my first instinct would be to suggest that you install the CoreAudio AAC encoder as detailed in https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.220/ , as it solved a similar problem I was having. But post a log because that's the only way we can tell what's actually happening.
