We have two PTZ cameras at church that we would like to configure to operate, view and live stream directly through OBS. We are using BlackMagic Design DeckLink Duo 5 Port PCI-E X4 SDI Video Capture Card BMDPCB119B in a Windows 10 pro PC.
Using the blackmagic desktop video setup, we see both SDI inputs on the 2nd and 4th BNC connection and have these set for seen the video only with no audio (audio is handled by the house sound system and put into the live stream by OBS later). In this application, the two camera feeds are identified as Decklink SDI 1 and Decklink SDI 2 if I recall correctly.
During the configuration, we are using Media Express and under the device tab allows us to switch between Decklink SDI 1 and Decklink SDI 2 to view or record each camera separately so that part seems to be set up properly.
Our issue comes in when we try to set up OBS to have two separate sources . As we set up the first source, we see a selection between Decklink SDI 1 and Decklink SDI 2 and all is operational for the first source.
As we create a new second source we do not get the same choices between Decklink SDI 1 and Decklink SDI 2 and instead are presented with alternate device choices including: Blackmagic WDM Capture, Decklink Video Capture and several others none of which operate.
We did not see any other support for the Black Magic or Decklink within obs. Obviously we must be doing something wrong. Any help in getting this figured out would be much appreciated.
