Question / Help New Work Around? Xbox One Streaming

So Windows 10 has of course been out for almost a week I believe, we now have it accompanied with the Xbox app. Which allows those who by chance also own an Xbox One to stream to their PC. Now I realized as I first used it, that I didn't have to worry about a capture card anymore. Or so I assumed, I was actually pretty excited because I was thinking OBS would be able to capture it, however it appears Microsoft wasn't completely dumb about this. Because as I tried to record, the footage it was capturing was just black. No sound, just an empty capture. Hopefully maybe the guys at OBS can find a work around, now I did try to be coy and capture a different window while have "capture overlayed windows". I was capturing my iTunes window, then I placed my Xbox window over it to see if I could cheat that, but Microsoft really knew what they were doing when they did not want you to have other options to capture footage.

Have you tried just capture the monitor output...sorry don't have the software loaded in front of me to look at the actual wording/naming. Because YES Windows 10 Xbox app stream can be captured by OBS. Here is a video I did using that method using OBS to record the Windows 10 Xbox app stream from an Xbox One and no other devices... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ldt6lYQBoPg

The only oddities I have noticed are....
-Adding Delay to the OBS Stream will cause the audio to echo in the capture by delay seconds entered
-Some odd issues with the Xbox One which I am guessing is being caused by the Windows 10 Xbox app streaming

I've tried that, and I just don't get anything. No footage or sound. I can get it on every other window. But even when I try monitor capture, it stays black, even if the Xbox app isn't on the screen

I too had high hopes for this feature! Would be nice to use overlays in obs and broadcast from pc while playing with no input lag on the xbox 1.

Input lag while streaming to the PC from the Xbox is negligible. I have been able to play with it just fine. However the comforts of sitting on the couch with a cold one and snack on the coffee table trump the office chair. I use the stream for a practically hands-free broadcasting purposes only while using an iPad to monitor chat only.

So I guess there's no way around this yet? I just found out about this and started setting it up and I have the same problem. Black screen, no game capture.

Please dont necro old threads. this thread isn't directly related to OBS in most ways, anyway.
If its not working, there is a reason behind them doing this. usually hooked windows can only be hooked once.
