Sorry if this has been asked or posted elsewhere, I've tried looking with no luck.

I just got OBS on my computer and had it mostly set up.

But when I went to record, I get no audio or the game I'm trying to record showing up.

I've looked at tutorials on Youtube or elsewhere with no luck. And as I said before, I tried looking here and not sure if I'm just not searching right or what, but can't find the answers I'm looking for.


I'm on a windows 7, and for the mic, it's a Sades 901 headset with a built in mic. Far as I know, I got the mic working, I had messed around to get it to work and set it up so it should work.

Now all I'm missing is trying to get the audio to show up in the recording as well as the footage than just my face.

Had fiddled around with the settings some more and finally got it working.

Now to just give myself time to actually make a video and hope for the best.

Found the monitor setting for the advanced audio needed work. And the game's audio shows up and only now has the video show up. However I had to do it in windowed, though I prefer fullscreen, less distractions.

Might try fullscreen now that everything else is in order if not I'll have to figure something out or hope someone else can offer advice.
