Hello,
I searched, but am a new user and may not be using the correct search terminology to get results.
I'm testing out live video streaming on Youtube with OBS and a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K card on my desktop computer. I have a Canon HV20 camera connected to the Blackmagic card using the HDMI output port on the video camera into the HDMI Input on the Blackmagic card. The video area is just black. Nothing else. I can see the audio input levels on OBS change when I talk, so know I'm using the correct input port on the Blackmagic card.
My computer is 5 years or so old, and has just the basic video on the motherboard. I have 16GB RAM, an Intel i5 processor at 3.4GHz. Plenty of hard drive space. I'm wondering if the motherboard video card might be the issue. Though I don't really care if I can see the video on the computer montor as much as I want it to show up on YouTube (which it doesn't - it's also black there). When I "watch" the video on YouTube, I can hear the audio, but the video is black.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
