Pretext: If this is in the wrong place or there is a solid FAQ / Guide that covers this please refer and disregard. I'll be doing more research of my own on the forums as well, but I'm currently short of time.
Hello OBS forum.
I am hoping to stream some drawing and other art to youtube or twitch. I'm new to streaming. I want to record the streams in parrallel to my computer so that I can create a timelapse from them later. Do you think this is to much to ask? Further more I am interested in whether this can be achieved with an S7 phone as the recording device (currently experimenting with OBS alongside IP Webcam app.
Perhaps it is better to do a time-lapse through single photo's rather than frames of a video for quality reasons so I may not do this but it would be nice to have a solid streaming setup as well.
With what I've played around with I can get a decent picture at 1920x1080 streaming through my browser direct to OBS and I assume it wont be to hard to plug it into a service like youtube or twitch from here. My biggest niggle is getting solid FPS and where my bottlenecks might be in terms of bitrate etc. I have a simple home router and I'm currently on the Australian NBN but a low tier plan. Are there better routers for recording over IP locally?
