Question / Help New to streaming

I tried to stream Overwatch, but even though i had 3000 bitrate (because my net speed is 65/21) , it looked like the quality of the stream is medium (game is set up to epic or ultra) . When i set up a game quality to be ultra, the fps goes to 45/50 and when i set up on high its 60. Overall whatever i do, the game works perfectly and smooth, no matter what quality is, but with ultra quality, stream looks like its choppy/laggy.

I dont mind playing on a high quality (high/epic/ultra), i just want viewers to enjoy the stream with a good quality and not medium, seems blurry when you watch it a little. Can you help me set it up, so viewers can enjoy a good quality? Tried everything and looked for answers everywhere, nobody seemed to have an answer for Overwatch.

My pc specs :

AMD FX-8350 8 cores 4.0GHz (4.2GHz) Black Edition Box
-MB ASUS M5A97 REV2.0 AM3+ -KINGSTON DIMM DDR3 8GB 1866MHz HX318C10FR/8 HyperX Fury Red
-SEAGATE 1TB Barracuda 64MB SATA3 ST1000DM003
-HDD KINGSTON HYPERX SSD SHFS37A/120G 120GB 2.5" STRIX-R7370-DC2OC-2GD5-GAMING
-AMD R9 370X

Some tips for new streamer, btw welcome.

As nonpartner you don't get "source" option which is special encoding and there is a bit different quality.

You should keep around ~2000-2500 bitrate for the sake of viewers because there is no option for quality (from viewer perspective) and stream will buffer for majority, but I've done streams with 3300bitrate (just because I needed VODs for youtube channel) so it's your choice.

Option which can improve quality and remove pixels in fast paced games like Overwatch is x264 preset (in advanced settings), by default it's VERYFAST, if you go slower quality will improve for the cost of cpu usage. Try FAST preset with same bitrate and see if quality gets better. Other then that as nonpartner you can't really do much..

x264 preset is set to very fast, and if i go higher it shows high cpu usage (even though when i go to task manager/performance only 40% is working) cant express myself, sorry.

but Overwatch isn't like League, it has more details. When i have the same settings for Overwatch and League, it looks like Ow is medium and League is high quality.
P.s ill try Fast preset! 3000 bitrate
Thank you very much for your advice and response!

Please post a Logfile, also note that Overwatch is rather Taxing on the CPU and your 8350 is in that Case close to its Limits with 720p30 + Overwatch This is more an Effeciency per Cicle Issue than real CPU Usage.

He is talking about quality not performance as main issue. He can get 60fps with lower settings he gets that.

If fast preset/3000bitrate 720p30fps can't satisfy you in terms of quality I guess go try youtube gaming with unlimited bitrate :) Once if you get partnered you will get higher quality stream.

Thats not entirely correct If your Encoder falls behind due to Data Overflow then the Quality Result will also be decreased I have been testing it in the Beta with a i7 5820k and an i7 2700k with 720p60 and had surprising differences (Both running with a GTX 970)

Thats why a Logfile would be quite pleasent.
