hey,

i have a gaming pc:
i7 6700k
16gb ddr3
gtx 970 (soon to be gtx 1070)

and a streaming pc(just built):
AMD FX 8350
8gb ddr3
gtx 560 (soon to be gtx 970)

what else do i need to start a 2 PC setup stream?
things for audio?
HDMI splitter i hear i need?
i have a PV6 up the shed if that'd help?

but i'd like to keep things fairly simple by using the headset microphone and stuff.
Would it be wise buying a 3rd monitor?

Thanks.

Honestly I wouldn't even bother with a 2PC setup if your gaming PC is running a 6700K and a 1070. That said you would obviously need a capture card, ideally PCIe. If you already run dual monitors you'll need a splitter (can't extend and clone simultaneously), otherwise you can clone the monitor to the capture card. Audio and mic can be sent over HDMI from the gaming PC easily using the "Listen to" function in Windows if you have some sort of Stereo Mix/What U Hear recording device (Realtek Audio, Creative cards, Logitech headsets, etc. have this).

I have problems streaming with one PC OBS lags when i stream XSplit it uses up way too much CPU and elgato software has audio issues lol and i have an elgato HD60 pro but problem with my streaming PC is the GPU covers the PCIe slot which the elgato sits in.

So i'm thinking either a new motherboard or a portable capture card maybe?(think it'd be cheaper to buy a new mobo)
i'll buy a HDMI splitter,
i have a hyperx cloud headset and like i said i have a pv6 mixer but i don't really want to use a condenser microphone yet, Thanks for replying dude.

I looked at your log in your old thread, why are you using an Elgato in a single PC setup? The main issue there appeared to be that your scene buffering time was set too low for the delays you had set up. If you aren't capturing a console (I assume not since you're talking about a 2PC setup) then you don't need that at all, and it's slower than capturing via OBS anyway. Give OBS Studio a try and post a new log if you can't get it running well.
