Hello OBS Forum users.
Well I kinda switched from Bandicrap to OBS and I am I kinda lost it these settings and also I have few questions.
Lets start off first with my PC specs : http://prnt.sc/d23dq7

Now my questions and problems are : NOTE I NEED SETTINGS ONLY FOR RECORDING ! - for now
RECORDING :
What are the best settings for recording FPS game like CS:GO ?

VIDEO/GRAPHIC :
When recording with OBS I get some lag spikes / fps drops.
The quality on recording are little bit blurry.

AUDIO/SOUND :

When recording , Audio from Teamspeak and Game are really quiet.
When recording , there is an really annoying background noise.

ENCODER :
Any suggestion about encoding x264 or NVENCH ?
What settings shall I set on x264 for good quality

OUTPUT/FORMAT
What output format shall I use mp4 or AVI or FLV
I am using Sony Vegas is it better to record to AVI then transform it to MP4 or what ? (I don't want to lose quality of Video or Sound)

Side Question : I have only 4 Mbps Upload and 80Mbps Download is that enough for streaming ?

That all what I have for question now
For me I think I only need 720p with 60 FPS recording but if you think I can do 1080p with 60 FPS recording without lagging / fps droping I kindly appreciate it.
In Advance Thank you all for your time for replying / helping me.
Kind Regards.

Encoder Nvenc
CQP = 20 (adjust as needed lower the number higher the quality but harder on the nvenc processor so if you get lag bring the number back up until you find the right level)
Output = flv (Singe audio track only, if mulitple needed use .mkv)
res = 1080p
fps = 60 fps

shouldn't cause any lap or minimal fps drop as nvenc handles the load rather than your cpu.

4mb is fine for steaming you only need 1500 or 1.5mb up for a reasonable 720@30fps stream.

RECORDING :
Limit fps of the game in any available way (Vsync together with 60Hz monitor or game internal limiter).

VIDEO/GRAPHIC :
blurry and fps drops are different things.

AUDIO/SOUND :

You can multiply volume by OBS Studio filters or through the main menu Edit>Advanced Audio Properties (last is 150% limited).
background noise from mic - there is Noise Suppression filter in OBS Studio.

ENCODER :
Any HW based encoder are good for recording.

OUTPUT/FORMAT
MP4 and forget about long sessions or write fragmented mp4/mov file (via custom muxer options).

If you need general info about the application, OBS Studio Help Guide: https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...ware-studio-multiplatform-help-guide-pdf.365/

Yep, see how it goes, if you are getting stutter in the video when you play it back then change the Quality to 21, 22,23 and so on until its good. You can also adjust the preset from high quality, also change from mp4 to flv
