Question / Help New to OBS, skipping frames?

I'm new to OBS, sort of. I always had tech savvy people help me out with it, but now I'm trying to set up a new stream by myself. I'm using twitchtv.
I have the stream mostly set up. The preview runs okay, but once I start streaming to the actual channel I get a warning message saying Taking too long to encode, skipping frames!
And then the stream just freezes completely.
I'm sure it's an easy fix I'm just not sure how.

Sure, but do I copy and paste whats in the last log or is there a way to just post the file? I don't see anything about that in the post

You can copy paste the content of the log file here, or you can use for example www.pastebin.com and post the resulting link or just use Upload attachment option

Oh well, you really need to upgrade your PC if you want to stream, your Core 2 Duo E4500 can't handle it. (probably you can lower output resolution and choose ultrafast x264 cpu preset but still ...)
